The location, the Spa, the staff, the restaurant, the design and decoration of the hotel, the locker rooms with direct access outside.

Really good ski in/out location, and a nice bar on the piste for (sedate) apres. In-house Ski Palace ski hire shop was excellent, staff very helpful. Room was a reasonable size with a lot of hanging space, bathroom also decent size. Our only issue with the room was the bed was rather soft but probably personal preference. Breakfast was reasonably good with both hot and cold offerings, although the options didn't really change while we were there. We had dinner a few times in the restaurant and the food was varied and tasty. The bar/lounge area is a nice, relaxed spot to unwind. The vibe in the evenings is chilled rather than party, with occasional live jazz the odd night. Staff helpful in advance and during our stay, arranging transfers etc. We both had massages in the spa which were excellent.
